All electronic files we receive are checked for malware and viruses. Although we scan all files sent to and from DFS for viruses, we cannot guarantee they will be completely virus-free. We strongly recommend that you scan any files you receive from DFS for your own safety. Our IT equipment is also regularly checked for viruses to keep everything secure.
You can find links to other websites on the DFS website. Although we check these links before we add them, we do not control their content and cannot guarantee their accuracy. It is up to you to check the information on these external websites.

All content on this website is the property of DFS unless otherwise specified.
Downloading, copying or printing pages from this website is permitted solely for personal use.
You are not allowed to copy, reproduce, sell or distribute any content from this website for commercial purposes without the consent of DFS.
The content on this website, including text, graphics and code, is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
Any unauthorised use, modification or distribution of website content for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
You retain full copyright, ownership and control over any documents or materials you submit to DFS, including any versions amended by us.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not breach copyright laws.
Purchases and Payments
All documents are subject to an initial review before pricing is confirmed. Once we have reviewed your document, we will issue a price based on the level of work required, together with a secure payment link.
In some cases, an additional fee may be necessary if the document requires more extensive editing than initially anticipated or if an upgrade to the selected service is required. Should this apply, we will notify you by email and provide a revised payment link before proceeding.
Full payment must be received before we begin formatting your document, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Once formatting is complete, your documents will be returned electronically. We do not provide hard copies.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all contact details provided at the time of order are accurate. Incorrect email addresses or phone numbers may result in unnecessary delays, for which we cannot be held responsible.
DFS accepts payments via Stripe, which supports all major credit and debit cards. If you prefer, we also accept payment by BACS. Please note that BACS payments must clear in full before we are able to proceed with the formatting. Once your payment has been successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
In summary, our process is as follows: you submit your document along with your requirements, we carry out a review and then issue a price based on the effort required to format the document, together with a payment link.
Corrections, Extensions and Refunds
DFS operates with a straightforward policy regarding delivery, extensions and refunds.
If you are unhappy with the formatted work, you must contact our team at [email protected] as soon as possible, explaining the reasons for your dissatisfaction. One of our editors will review your concerns to assess whether our set guidelines have been met.
Should we determine that further corrections are necessary, we will make the appropriate adjustments. If you are still dissatisfied after these amendments, we may offer additional revisions to your document(s).
In rare cases, where your requirements cannot be met or further revisions are not possible, we may offer a partial or full refund. Refunds are processed within 24 hours, although it may take up to 5 days for the funds to appear in your account.
Duplicate orders will be cancelled and refunded within 24 hours. Overpayments will also be refunded within 24 hours.
At DFS, we strive to deliver work within the agreed timeframe. However, there are occasions when we may need to extend the deadline to ensure the quality of the formatting is not degraded. Typically, such extensions are necessary when:
- Customer requirements need further clarification.
- The customer has failed to provide supporting documentation.
If an extension is required, then one of our team members will contact you via email to inform you of the delay. In instances where a delay is due to DFS’s own issues, such as IT problems or staff sickness, we will do our utmost to resolve the issue promptly and we will ensure that you are notified as soon as possible.
Right to Refuse Work
DFS reserves the right to refuse or decline any order at its discretion. If an order is declined, the customer will be contacted and a full refund will be issued.
Orders may be declined for several reasons, including (but not limited to) situations where the document requires a level of work beyond formatting, where the requirements provided are unclear or insufficient to proceed, or where we determine that there is little or no value we can reasonably add through formatting.
In such cases, the customer will be informed and no work will be carried out. Where an order is declined, a full refund will be issued.
Confidentiality
At DFS, we are committed to maintaining confidentiality.
We understand that our formatters have access to unpublished material, so we limit access to your information; only authorised employees who need to retrieve your document in order to carry out their job responsibilities will have access to it.
To protect your work, we have implemented several measures, including requiring all employees to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
DFS guarantees that none of your order details will be knowingly disclosed to any third parties, except to those directly involved in formatting your document(s).
Like most organisations, we recognise that online communications carry risks. Our formatters use third-party software such as Google Drive, Microsoft Word, Office 365 and Gmail. While these platforms are considered secure, DFS cannot be held responsible for any security breaches that may occur with these services.
All documents are removed from our servers four weeks after the order has been placed. Additionally, documents are deleted from any local repositories after the same four-week period.
We recommend that customers review our Privacy Policy alongside these terms and conditions.
Governing Law
The interpretation and enforcement of any contract between DFS and the user, as well as these terms and conditions, shall be governed by and carried out in accordance with English law.
